I am a money blogger and Instagram creator of @helpsavemoney. I mainly blog about saving, making, and earning money through deals and side hustles.

What has been the biggest change in the current economic situation?

The cost of living crisis. This has created a massive shift in how people are viewing money and what they spend it on. People are now looking at things with fresh eyes and budgeting more than ever. Cancelling subscriptions, shopping basic brands and finding deals.

What do you think is the biggest challenge to young people?

What to do after college - either get into thousands of pounds worth of debt with the possibility of a decent job, or start working straight away and grow from there. Everything looks more of a challenge with the housing market and bills going up.

What advice would you give to young people during the cost of living crisis?

Seek out new opportunities. The Internet has so much information now and it’s easier than ever to earn online. Try out different things, and see what you’re good at and are passionate about. Without that passion, you simply won’t put in the effort. Passive income is the best, so look into developing that!
