THE CHALLENGE

The BBC is struggling to retain younger audiences as funding challenges and competition from on-demand services such as Netflix, YouTube - combined with new platforms like TikTok -  put pressure on the BBC to reinvent its online offering.

OUR APPROACH

To answer the question we applied The People’s proprietary people powered process. A unique four-stage stage process that helps brands gain real-time feedback, co-create, design and build with their most valuable communities

Since  launch,  500,000+  animations  have  been made (average  of  18  minutes  per  session). The  learnings  from  the  “Mixital”  pilot  have now  been  rolled  out  across  the  www.bbc.co.uk
